The startup AOTECH, an associate of Bioga, won the third edition of the entrepeneurship program Ebro Talent, organized by the University of Loyola, in collaboration with Grupo Ebro Foods, who intends to propell and support innovation within the foods sector with the goal of improving efficiency and sustainability within said industry.

AOTECH Has presented an innovative solution based on their AONIR sensors, in order to monitor in real time and within their own production lines the manufacturing of Ebro sauces, allowing for a better control of said sauces and avoiding deviations in their characteristics, minimizing the instances where batches had to be discarded after being finished.

Thanks to this solution, they have obtained the award to the challenge “Technological innovation for the monitorization of the manufacturing process” and award to the best project within the program.

Ebro Talent suggested three challenges related with different Sustainable Development Goals (ODS in spanish) of the foods sector. The first, “Reduction in the use of plastics within the foods value chain” had B’Zeos as a winner.

An open challenge was also suggested, “Technological solutions and innovations within the foods value chain”, the winners of this one being Bioferric and Bioprocesia.

This third edition of Ebro Talent has broken participation records with 42 projects presented and 14 finalists selected.
