The Life Sciences Business Technology Cluster commemorates its fifteenth anniversary with a celebration at the Sala Capital in Santiago de Compostela, enlivened by live music from the group MFC CHICKEN.

The Galician Business Technology Cluster (BIOGA), representing the biotechnology ecosystem of the autonomous community of Galicia, is celebrating its 15th anniversary. The celebration took place yesterday (November 26, 2025) at the Sala Capital in Santiago de Compostela. From 7:30 p.m. onwards, key figures in the biotechnology sector gathered at this concert venue to participate in the BIO ROCK PARTY, which featured live music by the band MFC CHICKEN. BIOGA’s president, Jose Vilariño, invited those present to “share everything we have achieved together.” The Galician Business Technology Cluster wanted to celebrate these 15 years “by promoting Galician biotechnology.” “And we want to do it with everyone who is part of this story,” affirmed the president of BIOGA. Also present was the former president of Bioga, Carme Pampín, who expressed her hope that the project “will continue to thrive and achieve its goals” in order to further consolidate a sector that is already strategic for the Galician economy. In addition to the management team of the Life Sciences Business Technology Cluster, representatives from biotechnology companies, research centers, and Bioga partner organizations attended the event. Everyone enjoyed the music, and there was also an opportunity for networking.
