Santiago de Compostela, November 22, 2025
Last Tuesday, November 18, we held an enriching event at the CIFP Politécnico of Santiago de Compostela, reaffirming our commitment to connecting talent, science, and industry to drive the future of students enrolled in the Dual Vocational Training (FP Dual) program in Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control.
During the event, students had the opportunity to discover the growing Galician biotechnology ecosystem with the support of our colleague Ángela Iglesias Sánchez, as well as to learn first-hand about the activities and internship opportunities offered by our partner companies: GalChimia, Lonza, CETIM Technological Centre, and ZENDAL.
The day provided a unique opportunity to get closer to the sector, resolve questions, and envision their professional future.
The central part of the event was marked by the interview round, a key moment to create connections, open doors, and support the professional growth of young talent.
In addition, participants visited the new facilities and laboratories of the CIFP Politécnico, a renovated space designed to offer even more comprehensive training aligned with the needs of the sector.
Special thanks:
-
To CIFP Politécnico for their coordination, collaboration, and for providing the venue.
-
To Martín J. Franco, facilitator of relations with companies, for his tireless work and commitment to the Dual Vocational Training network.
-
To our partner companies for their time, experience, and enthusiasm: Vanessa F. (CETIM Technological Centre), Jeniffer Rodriguez Carrera (ZENDAL), Elsa Maroño (Lonza), Alejandra Patiño González (Lonza), and Antia Blanco Espiñeira (GalChimia).
Thank you all for supporting young talent and continuing to drive the Galician biotechnology ecosystem.
