Vigo, June 27, 2025 – CEAMSA, an expert in natural texturizers, is launching CEAMBOOST, a new incubation program designed to boost startups developing new natural ingredients internationally. This initiative aims to accelerate the development of healthier, more sustainable, and globally scalable food products.

The program, which closes its application period on July 11 and will start in September, will run for nine months, during which selected startups will be provided with a personalized incubation plan, mentoring from industry experts, and funding of up to €250,000.

A commitment to open innovation and collaboration

CEAMBOOST was created with the aim of generating strategic collaborations throughout the value chain, offering research groups, entrepreneurs and startups access to top-level infrastructure such as experimental laboratories, advanced analytical capabilities, a pilot plant and a commercial network with more than 500 clients worldwide.

Who can participate?

The program seeks pre-commercial or early industrial-stage projects working with naturally derived ingredients with innovative properties. Priority areas include new texturizers and stabilizers, plant proteins and fibers, and functional ingredients for use in the food industry.

The call for applications will remain active through a specific web platform until July 11, 2025, and candidates must submit a proposal with a Minimum Viable Product validated in a controlled environment and a team committed to the development and scaling of the business.

Following an application evaluation phase, the program will begin in September 2025, with an expected completion date of May 2026. During the 9 months of incubation, those selected will receive support through a specific plan in 2 potential pathways, application development or commercial validation, mentoring and expert advice as well as an investment of up to €250,000 to boost their business.
