Bioga is carrying out a series of actions from January 2024 to March 2025, within the framework of the Galicia Exports Intermediary Organizations 2024 program of the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape), aimed at promoting the internationalization of the Galician biotechnology sector.
These actions include participation as an exhibitor at leading international trade fairs such as BIO-Europe Spring (Milan), Swiss Biotech Day (Basel), and BIOMEET 2024 (Oeiras), where the Galician ecosystem was showcased and ties with other European clusters and companies were strengthened.
In addition, the Galicia Bio Campaign, a digital strategy to position Galician biotechnology globally, is being developed.
Direct missions are also carried out, such as the visit to North Carolina (USA), with the aim of establishing strategic alliances and attracting investment, and reverse missions from Scotland, Italy and Japan, which included visits to Galician research centers, networking sessions and participation in Galicia Biodays 2024, promoting multilateral collaboration and the international positioning of Galicia as a leading bioregion in life sciences.
