The Galician Life Sciences Business Technology Cluster (Bioga) will represent the Galician biotechnology ecosystem with its own stand at the fair, which hosts more than 3,000 companies from sixty countries.
Santiago. November 5th 2025. Galician biotech companies CZ Vaccines, part of the Zendal group and headquartered in O Porriño; and BFlow, Libera Bio, SunRock Biopharma, and Linknovate, based in Santiago de Compostela, are participating in BIO-Europe 2025, the largest life sciences industry event in Europe and one of the most influential in the world, held in Vienna from Monday, November 3rd, to Wednesday, November 5th. These five Galician biotech companies aim to strengthen their commitment to the European Union market through their presence at this trade fair, which will be attended by representatives from 60 countries.
Bio-Europe 2025 will host more than 5,700 international industry leaders, including representatives from biotech, big pharma, investors, clusters, and research centers. It will also bring together nearly 200 exhibitors and more than 3,000 companies. Over 30,000 bilateral meetings are planned. Bioga will represent the Galician biotech ecosystem with its own 12-square-meter stand, which it will share with its strategic partner, Abioinnova.
Bioga, with its presence at Bio-Europe 2025, will be able to consolidate Galicia’s international presence at the leading European forum for life sciences, “boosting the visibility of its companies and reinforcing its role as a key player in European biotechnology.” Bioga’s president, José Manuel López Vilariño, points out that the presence of Galicia’s biotech ecosystem at Bio-Europe 2025 allows for firsthand knowledge of the sector’s state in different markets and “to learn about potential opportunities.”
The Galician companies present at Bio-Europe 2025, thanks to Bioga, are:
CZ Vaccines: A biopharmaceutical company belonging to the Zendal group, headquartered in O Porriño (Pontevedra), a leader in the development and production of human and veterinary vaccines, with extensive international experience and industrial capacity to scale biotechnological solutions.
BFlow: A pioneer in organ-on-a-chip technologies, which replicate human functions at a micrometric scale, providing disruptive solutions to accelerate drug discovery, personalized medicine, and the reduction of animal testing. It is headquartered in Santiago de Compostela.
Libera Bio: A spin-off based in Santiago de Compostela focused on the development of innovative nanomedicines for oncology, with a unique focus on the targeted intracellular release of drugs, capable of improving therapeutic efficacy and reducing side effects.
SunRock Biopharma: A biotechnology company based in Santiago de Compostela, specializing in the development of innovative therapeutic antibodies for cancer treatment. Its open innovation model fosters collaboration between academia and industry to transform research into new therapies.
Linknovate: A competitive intelligence platform that tracks and analyzes scientific and technological trends globally, enabling companies, investors, and research centers to anticipate market changes and identify strategic partners. It is also located in Santiago.
