Lisbon, March 25, 2026. The Galician Life Sciences Business Technology Cluster (Bioga) and eight companies from the Galician biotechnology ecosystem are participating in Bio-Europe Spring 2026, Europe’s leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical trade fair, which is being held in Lisbon from Monday, March 23, 2026, until Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The biotechnology sector is reaffirming its commitment to internationalization through this trade fair, which connects companies from Europe’s main innovation hubs with the life sciences community to foster contacts and strategic alliances.
Bioga will attend Bio-Europe Spring 2026 to strengthen the international standing of Galicia’s biotechnology ecosystem. It will also use this opportunity to highlight the Galicia Biodays forum, a leading event in the European Atlantic Area, to be held in Vigo on May 6th and 7th, and a key attraction for international companies, investors, and bioregions.
The Galician companies participating in Bio-Europe Spring 2026 are CZ Vaccines, part of the Zendal group and located in O Porriño (Pontevedra); Iteria Biopharma, based in the Touro business park; AMSBiopharma, the laboratory services business unit of the Lugo-based AMSlab group; and the Santiago de Compostela-based companies DIVERSA Technologies, SunRock Biopharma, BFlow, Linknovate, and Lincbiotech. Bioga’s president, José Manuel López Vilariño, emphasizes that this initiative reinforces Bioga’s strategy and that of the entire Galician biotechnology ecosystem “to continue focusing on internationalization for the remainder of the decade.”
Connecting world leaders
Bio-Europe Spring 2025 will bring together more than 3,700 leading executives from around the world. Over 20,000 collaboration meetings are planned to connect leaders from academia, startups, and scaling biotech companies with pharmaceutical companies and investors. According to its organizers, “it is an unparalleled forum for companies across the biotech value chain to meet and do business.” It is the ideal place to raise the sector’s profile, attract foreign funding, and explore strategic collaborations.
In recent years, Galicia has positioned itself as a growing bioregion in the field of biotechnology, with a dynamic ecosystem encompassing everything from research to industrialization.
