Last Friday, BIOGA accompanied students from the Master’s Degree in Biomedical Research at the University of Santiago de Compostela on a highly enriching day, designed to gain first-hand insight into the reality of the Galician biotechnology sector, with the support of ZENDAL.
The activity allowed students to discover how leading companies and organizations in Galicia operate, and to understand the professional opportunities within an ecosystem that brings together more than 150 entities in the region.
During the visit, Jeniffer Rodriguez Carrera, from ZENDAL’s HR team, shared her experience and explained the different professional opportunities in the sector, offering a direct view of the industry.
The BIOGA team, represented by Ángela Iglesias Sánchez, Pablo Quinteiro Bernal, and Elena González Martín, presented our BioTalent platform to the students, showcasing the many opportunities available for diverse profiles in the sector and highlighting the strategic importance of biotechnology in Galicia.
We would especially like to thank ZENDAL for their hospitality and collaboration, as well as the master’s coordination team, for making this initiative possible—one that strengthens the link between university and industry and fosters the development of future professionals in the sector.
