The director of the Galician Innovation Agency participates in a round table on governance models and instruments to promote transfer
Madrid, January 29, 2026
The director of the Galician Innovation Agency, Carmen Cotelo, participated today in a round table on governance models and instruments for promoting knowledge transfer within the framework of the international Science for Industry (S4i) fair, in Madrid, together with members of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and the autonomous communities of Extremadura and Navarra.
The representative of the Ministry of Education, Science, Universities and participated in the debate on instruments to promote knowledge transfer due to Galicia’s pioneering character in the implementation of tools that bring science to the market such as the Ignicia Knowledge Transfer program. This intervention is part of the Galician presence at this event, which in this edition delves into deep science and disruptive technologies.
Carmen Cotelo positively highlighted that this participatory approach should be followed in the design of the new state strategy for science, technology and innovation, but requested that the point of view of the autonomous communities be taken into account in the definition of the challenges to better reflect their capabilities and that a complementary technological orientation be incorporated to better align the state framework with the strategies of the autonomies.
