These ties began during the Galician mission to the United States led by Bioga in 2024, with the support of the Galician Innovation Agency (GAIN), the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (IGAPE), and the Galician Health Cluster (CSG). During that trip, the Galician biotechnology ecosystem met with representatives from Research Triangle Park, the Winston-Salem Innovation Quarter, and BioPharma Crescent, establishing a foundation for cooperation that is now formalized through this alliance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The agreement aims to facilitate collaboration between the two clusters in areas of common interest. These include the exchange of information and best practices, the creation of links between companies and research centers, the promotion of bilateral missions, academic and scientific cooperation, the training of specialized talent, joint international promotion, and the identification of collaborative pilot projects in biomanufacturing, advanced therapies, digital health, and bioinformatics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The alliance between Bioga and Biopharma Crescent will foster synergies that boost competitiveness, innovation, and the international reach of the biotechnology sector in both regions, promoting stable cooperation among their companies, universities, research centers, and public administrations. The agreement also includes the creation of permanent communication channels between Bioga members and stakeholders in the North Carolina ecosystem, as well as the organization of joint activities in research, technology transfer, and investment attraction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>BioPharma Crescent, Bioga&#8217;s new honorary partner<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of the signing, BioPharma Crescent formally joins Bioga as an honorary member, reinforcing its commitment to the Galician biotechnology ecosystem and its desire to actively participate in the cooperation, internationalization, and innovation initiatives promoted by the cluster.
